Being a people person and very passionate about history and culture, I have always been aspiring for and pursuing new experiences. My greatest pleasure has always been travelling and exploring the world. I have been traveling in different countries getting to know their cultures for more than 25 years now. However, during past few years I have been working as a tour guide and a tour leader throughout Croatia and surrounding region which ultimately became my most favorite occupation. It has been a dream come true when I got the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and passion for my country with my dear guests from all over the world. Sharing the glory and the beauty of Croatia and our region with my future friends continues to be my greatest joy.

Hello everybody! My name is Mihaela and I am a local certified tour guide for Dubrovnik county. Dubrovnik is my hometown and I am a big history lover. I have a master degree in Public Relations and have studied history, philosophy and media. Well I really like talking ;)! My whole life I've been working in tourism. I really enjoy in meeting new people and their culture. As somebody who studied history and have been living in Dubrovnik I am more than happy to share my knowledge and local insights with you. Currently I am a PHD student for information and communication science! I have also worked as an assistant on University of Dubrovnik (I guess I just like explaining things to people!). Also as a big fan of Game of Thrones I will take you through the streets of King's Landing and share with you all the behind the scenes details. I will offer you different kind of tours so you can pick history, Game of Thrones, panorama sighseeing or just mix all together! My wokring experience is covering Dubrovnik county reagion so with me you can visit anything you want. Well.. I consider myself as a bookworm :)! In my freetime I love to read books, travel around the world and spend time with my family, friends and ofcourse my baby cat Čombo :). And I love spending time by watching my favourite TV shows ofcourse. What is the most important thing for me is that I want you to feel like home when you come in Dubrovnik. I dont see my tourists as clients, I see you as my friends who I havent seen in a while! Anyway, looking foward to meeting all of you!

What a start!

We booked this tour twice to start our 3 weeks trip in Japan. We were jetlagged (coming from Eastern Canada) as it was the day after our arrival. Koji just managed everything perfectly, adapted the tour based on our feedback and he also took care of us not being completely worn out by the heat and humidity. Overall, this was an excellent moment to discover Tokyo with two days focusing on different areas and various elements to discover. Thanks again Koji, we had fun!

Excellent day in New Orleans with Arthur

We had a very interesting and informative day in New Orleans. Arthur told us a lot of background information and both current and historical facts about New Orleans. We thank him for the wonderful day, which brought us much closer to this city.

Great Guide. Great Day!

Keiji was a very consistent communicator before the touring day and met me at my train exactly like he said he would. He had my name on the sign. He knows all the spots and the train/tram system and how to beat the lines at the Peace Museum. He was patient, informative and very pleasant to be with. We toured a garden (Shukkeien Garden) by the museum, took trams, fantastic local sushi spot for lunch, A-Bomb, Peace Museum and then to Miyajima Island on the ferry. Fantastic day and a very nice man. He has a good vocabulary in English. Things to note so as not to be surprised ~ It is custom to pay for the guides meals and treats and entrance fee/bus far etc. You will also pay about $5000 yen for his train ticket home again. So plan on spending extra money. The Ropeway on the island has the last up car around 3:15 or so (even though the hours say 4PM) so plan on leaving enough time for that. Keiji is a retired middle school teacher, a father and a husband. A very nice and positive person and he knows his way around. The Peace Museum and the A-Bomb site is very *hard* - so also going to the island where there are deer roaming and lots of food treats and a beautiful shrine is a good balance. The ferry ride is also lovely. And if you stay on the island til the evening you will see that gate all illuminated. ***** = five star review!

Dear Suzie, Thank you for your wonderful review. I also appreciate your enjoying the trip in Hiroshima. I will use today's experience in my next guide. Tomorrow's Naoshima is very famous as an island of nature, architecture and art, with the Chichu Art Museum and the Art House Project and so on. There is also a public bath called "I Love Yu", which is decorated with art inside and outside, so please enjoy it if you have the opportunity to go there. Thank you very much for today. Best Keiji
