Mt. Fuji is known worldwide as a mountain brimming with natural beauty. Besides this, Mt. Fuji has been revered as a sacred mountain since ancient times. This tour gives you a great opportunity to feel the essence of Mt. Fuji worship by visiting two places - “Oshino Hakkai spring ponds" and Fuji Sengen Sengen shrine.
Kawaguchiko station
- Meet at Kawaguchiko station and head for "Oshino Hakkai spring ponds" by bus. (Bus ride: 25 minutes One-way fare: 560jpy)
- Join the table and chair-style tea ceremony and enjoy matcha green tea you make on your own

*The optional activities you can do at the temple are as follows:
1) Sutra-copying (1,000jpy per person/45 minutes)
2) Zen meditation (1,000jpy per person/45 minutes)
- The booking is required in advance.
- You can’t join either activities when the monks are busy conducting Buddhist services.

The highlight of the Oshino Hakkai walk is a visit to “Deguchi pond” which is away from the center of Oshino Hakkai. In contrast to the bustling atmosphere around the central area, the pond would welcome you with peaceful and serene atmosphere.
