Montenegro

I was born in a Montenegro (Culturo - Historical Region of Kotor), in a family that has been living in this part of the world for centuries and still lives by the old traditional values. Growing up in a multi-ethnic environment, rich in historical heritage, prompted me to learn more about the history, geography and Montenegrin culture and my interest in these topics had lead me to study and graduate from the Belgrade Faculty of Demography. I am a traveler myself and as a tourist guide in Montenegro, I will show to our clients all the places that I would have wanted to see in such a beautiful country. I love nature, history, food and wine and with my help, they will experience a little bit of everything. The tours are flexible, and I'll be happy to adjust everything to their time, interests and number of people in the group.

Biljana O.

Montenegro

I am a professional, licensed tour guide for Montenegro. I have 10 years experience. I love meeting people from different parts of the world and showing them my beautiful country. I have good people skill and a sense for recognizing what they prefer and what makes them feel good. I lived in Canada for 20 years and my English is fluent. As Canada is a multi national country I had an opportunity to learn about different religion, tradition and culture. I feel that is a bonus for my current job as a tour guide. I am a passionate traveler and a nature lover.

Sandra V.

Montenegro

Hi! I'm Sandra and I can proudly say I live in the most magical place on Earth! I came to Kotor 26 years ago with a plan to stay for only three months. But, like locals told me - "Who comes here once, never leaves"- here I am, with no intention to leave! Being a licensed tour guide gives me an opportunity to introduce the incredible beauty of this hidden jewel to people from all around the world. Montenegro offers such a rich diversity that I find myself stunned over and over again! I prefer smaller groups, as that's the best way to feel the affinity of my guests and share with them the experience, passion about the country and information they're interested in. I'm a positive and spontaneous person and the tours I offer are interesting, flexible and always adjusted to their desires and needs. The main goal and what makes me the most satisfied, motivated and happy is to hear that my guests feel like they have spent a fabulous day with an old friend. So, my friends, do not hesitate, do not wait! Come and see Montenegro through my eyes, but, be aware, you might stay longer than you planned to!

Great Guide. Great Day!

Keiji was a very consistent communicator before the touring day and met me at my train exactly like he said he would. He had my name on the sign. He knows all the spots and the train/tram system and how to beat the lines at the Peace Museum. He was patient, informative and very pleasant to be with. We toured a garden (Shukkeien Garden) by the museum, took trams, fantastic local sushi spot for lunch, A-Bomb, Peace Museum and then to Miyajima Island on the ferry. Fantastic day and a very nice man. He has a good vocabulary in English. Things to note so as not to be surprised ~ It is custom to pay for the guides meals and treats and entrance fee/bus far etc. You will also pay about $5000 yen for his train ticket home again. So plan on spending extra money. The Ropeway on the island has the last up car around 3:15 or so (even though the hours say 4PM) so plan on leaving enough time for that. Keiji is a retired middle school teacher, a father and a husband. A very nice and positive person and he knows his way around. The Peace Museum and the A-Bomb site is very *hard* - so also going to the island where there are deer roaming and lots of food treats and a beautiful shrine is a good balance. The ferry ride is also lovely. And if you stay on the island til the evening you will see that gate all illuminated. ***** = five star review!

Dear Suzie, Thank you for your wonderful review. I also appreciate your enjoying the trip in Hiroshima. I will use today's experience in my next guide. Tomorrow's Naoshima is very famous as an island of nature, architecture and art, with the Chichu Art Museum and the Art House Project and so on. There is also a public bath called "I Love Yu", which is decorated with art inside and outside, so please enjoy it if you have the opportunity to go there. Thank you very much for today. Best Keiji

Truly our own way...

An excellent guide! We greatly appreciated Koji's flexibility to accommodate our particular interest in having help with practical matters such as getting metro tickets and JR bullet train reservations. He showed us how to use the metro while taking us to the most important temple in Tokyo. We greatly enjoyed his historical knowledge; especially when pointing out the significance of the small Shinto shrines we passed on our walk. He also took us through the fish market which would have been difficult without him.

David I'm blessed that I could share wonderful time offering an introduction tour on the first day of your long stay in Japan! If you need any information, I'm truly happy to help so please feel free to contact me anytime. Best, Koji

Tour in style and comfort

Yoshi: Our family had an incredible tour with Yoshi! Cruising around in his convertible Range Rover with the roof down was such a cool way to see the sights—it made the whole experience even more special. Yoshi was super flexible, adjusting the tour to include all the places we wanted to see, and he even went out of his way to take us to Osaka. One of the highlights was a sushi spot he took us to that was filled with locals, something we would’ve never found on our own. Yoshi was so sweet and made sure everyone in the group felt safe, especially my dad, who walks slowly. He was really patient and thoughtful the whole time. He also took some fantastic photos of us throughout the day, capturing great memories. Yoshi made the whole experience feel effortless, and we couldn’t recommend him enough!
